When Laft underwent a significant brand renewal, with their new identity meticulously crafted, our team was brought in to develop the brand reveal animation. The challenge was to take the new static brand elements and philosophy and translate them into a dynamic visual piece that would effectively introduce Laft's transformed essence to their audience.

  • Clearly and excitingly unveil Laft's new visual identity.

  • Convey the core feeling and direction of their renewed brand.

To achieve this, our approach focused on:

  1. Understanding the Core Essence: We began by thoroughly digesting the new brand guidelines and strategy developed for Laft. Our aim was to deeply understand the intended "new essence"—the personality, values, and key messages Laft wished to project—so our animation could be a faithful and impactful extension of this.

  2. Developing the Narrative and Visual Language for Motion: We conceptualized a narrative arc for the animation that would tell a story of transformation or emergence, fitting for a brand reveal. Key considerations included:

    • Motion Design: How could movement itself (fluid, sharp, energetic, sophisticated) reflect Laft's new character? We designed transitions and animations that would bring the new logo, color palette, and typography to life in a way that felt inherent to the new brand.
